Your Holiday home is less than 4 miles from Kirkwall Airport, which connects to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Sumburgh & Bergen. Car hire is available at the airport, taxis can be booked in advance or a scheduled bus service departs every 30 minutes Monday - Saturday.
There are three ferry terminals connecting Orkney to the Scottish mainland; Hatston from Aberdeen; Stromness from Scrabster, St Margarets Hope (SMH) from Gills Bay (near John O'Groats). All Ferry Terminals are within a 30 minute drive of your holiday home. They are also connected to Kirkwall with a scheduled bus service.
Drive:
Your holiday home is in the centre of Kirkwall and there are plenty of on-road parking spaces and car parks. The nearest free public car park is next to the marina and is less than two minutes walk. A car won't be needed in town as everything is within walking distance.
